This year, farmers are counting on a high yield of potatoes - the second bread for Belarusians. All equipment is involved in the fields. As long as the weather allows, the mechanics do not slow down.
25 years in the native economy, but from that desire to work on the land even more. This is how machine operator Viktor Kazak talks about his career . Currently busy harvesting potatoes. The weather, he says, allows not to reduce the speed, and to ship the crop dry, and therefore of high quality, to the storage facilities.

- We start working somewhere from 8 o'clock and work until 9 - half past nine, while sorting is working. Somewhere in a day I accumulate about 200 tons. Of course we try.
At the same time, three dozen pieces of equipment are working in the fields of the farm "Diana" - a potato giant. Nine harvesters, this year we have purchased two new and two dozen machines, tractors for haulage. By the way, there are more and more young people at the helm. But work in agriculture, says Vladislav Burtsev, is a profitable business, and the dynasty must be continued.

- I have been working on a combine for the 4th year. My father also works in this business. The mood is good this year, the harvest is successful. To avoid losses, you drive a couple of meters, got out, looked to see if everything was fine, and drove on. This is our second bread.
Hence the attitude towards mechanics. Two meals a day - both lunch and dinner are delivered directly to the field.
This year, 1,200 hectares were allotted for potatoes at the Diana farm.
Works only for a month and a half with such rates. After all, one such harvester picks up a whole bunker in three to four minutes.
Farmers are pragmatic people, Vladimir Malinovsky talks about his approach to agriculture. The main task is to get as much benefit as possible from every centimeter of land and equipment. They mastered the technology of doubling the furrow. Harvesters have become even more efficient.
The effect is obvious. Almost half of the potatoes in the Mogilev region were grown in Diana. Expect an excellent harvest this year as well.

- We see that the harvest will be slightly higher than last year. In the past, we dug up 66 thousand 500 tons. Our warehouses are great. We can save until the new harvest - June, July. The Republic of Belarus is provided with potatoes.
Sorting complexes in Diana, by the way, at the largest storage facility in Europe, designed for 40,000 tons, operate non-stop. The first seven thousand have already been pledged. Here it is - the Belarusian potato - does not fit in the palm of your hand.

- We have all the potatoes are good, tasty. Approximately these are the sizes - 200, 250 grams, there are more - 300, even up to half a kilo - for potato pancakes.
"Colombo", "Saraya" - up to 1700 tons of different varieties of potatoes are sent for sorting daily, including the most popular - "Gala". It will be stored at a temperature of only 4-5 degrees. To be on store shelves all year round. Loading is going on at the same time. Trucks 15 of the new crop have already gone to the buyers. Not only the domestic market. Belarusian Bulba is popular even in Georgia.
