Minister of Health Dmitry Pinevich visited Krichev and discussed the development of the healthcare system in the region during a meeting with the staff of the local hospital. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“Construction of a new clinic begins. Children's and adult polyclinics, an emergency department and dentistry will be transferred to this building. The governor raises the issue of installing a number of high-tech equipment, including MRI and angiographic complex. Even for me, the installation of high-tech equipment in such a small city will be the first experience - usually such a diagnostic complex is installed in institutions of large cities, in cities of accelerated development. In the region, these are Mogilev and Bobruisk. But due to the importance of the southeastern region, we settled on your institution. Another such project is planned to be implemented in Vaukavysk,” the head of the Ministry of Health said, talking with Krichev doctors.
He added that on behalf of the President, the Ministry of Health will find funds for MRI and angiography. “But the most important thing is to train medical personnel. Any, even the most high-tech hardware without personnel is nothing. Therefore, we must understand which of you is ready to go for retraining, to interact with the medical complex. This clinical complex will become the center for the development of the entire region and an inter-district center for Khotimsk, Krasnopolye, Klimovichi, Cherikov, Mstislavl and Kostyukovichi,” Dmitry Pinevich emphasized.
The minister spoke about the plans for the development of the Mogilev region: “Creating a regional hospital in such a fast manner, as it was done in Mogilev, is worth a lot. Now, on behalf of the head of state, the construction of the BSMP is underway - by May 2024 it will be one of the most powerful complexes. In about a month, a cancer center in Mogilev and an infectious diseases building of Mogilev Hospital No. 1 will be commissioned. In this regard, Krichev will be at the level of an inter-district center. Here we propose to conduct a pilot project, which will be interesting to work out. To bring medical care at the highest level closer to each patient.”
