Mogilev Hospital No. 1 recently launched a renovated department of operative gynecology. Updated wards, new medical furniture - all this was done thanks to the sponsorship of Mogilev enterprises. This was told by the head of the department Alexander Korolevich.
“Thanks to sponsorship, we have upgraded almost the entire department - both the wards and auxiliary premises. They have undergone cosmetic and more thorough repairs. The wards, which were previously designed for six patients, have become smaller - now four people are accommodated there. They were supplemented with separate bathrooms and shower rooms, - said the manager. - In addition, we increased the number of single rooms. They were equipped with air conditioners, TVs, refrigerators, and bathrooms. We have tried to make the stay of our patients as comfortable as possible in the hospital.”
In addition, the medical post and rest rooms for the medical staff of the department were updated. “There have been no major repairs in our department, probably since the opening of the hospital. For women who come to us, coziness and comfort are important. In addition, the medical staff also needs comfortable conditions for both work and leisure, - said Alexander Korolevich. - We opened an updated branch on the eve of March 8. And it's nice that our patients all shared their positive impressions and said words of gratitude to the representatives of the city's enterprises.”
One of the department's patients is Anastasia Sazonova from Mogilev. The girl after the operation, but feels good. “I have been in this department before and I have something to compare with,” she smiles. “Now it’s much more comfortable here. Bright rooms, comfortable furniture. Everything is bright and light. And despite the fact that I'm in the hospital now, everything here evokes a spring mood. And morale is improving."
The girl said that she herself is a health worker, and therefore appreciated not only the comfort created, but also the responsiveness of all the staff. “The heart of any department is its team. As Alexander Basenko, chief physician of the Mogilev hospital No. 1, noted, the repair of the operative gynecology department is a vivid example of the joint charitable work of a number of enterprises of the regional center. “The initiator of this idea was the management of the Babushkina Krynka holding. Other enterprises and organizations of the city joined them: construction trust No. 12, and DSK, and the city UKS, and the Mogilev thermal power plant, and the Blago charitable public association. We have arranged work with sponsors, but in such a volume - this is probably the first such assistance. I am glad that, having united, they directed their efforts to create comfortable and favorable conditions for our women, - he noted. - A large amount of work was done, which required considerable financial costs. But, having come to visit us on the eve of March 8, they saw joy and gratitude in the eyes of patients and medical staff. The Department of Operative Gynecology is designed for 40 beds. About 320 operations are carried out here every month. Here, high-tech operations are performed using an allograft for prolapse of the pelvic organs, the number of laparoscopic operations and operations using vaginal access increases annually, and minimally invasive endoscopic interventions are performed. Many operations are unique to the region.
