Summer holidays for schoolchildren are probably the most anticipated time. Lessons are over, tests have been written and handed in, and there are three whole summer months ahead, filled with rest and vivid impressions. Today's students have a huge choice of how to spend the holidays in an interesting and useful way. For students from the Kruglyansky district, one of these opportunities was a camp with round-the-clock stay, operating on the basis of the military-patriotic club "Dozor" of the Mogilev regional department of the Department of Security.
The military-patriotic camp "Dozor" in Krugly opened its doors just a few months ago. Despite its relatively young age, the club managed to gain real popularity among local schoolchildren. In order to diversify the everyday life of the guys during the holidays, it was decided to create a summer camp on the basis of the club with a round-the-clock stay. In the camp - both boys and girls aged 12 to 16 years. Change - 9 days.
“During this time, the guys learn drill training, assembling and disassembling weapons, practice self-defense techniques, attend classes on first aid and the basics of life safety,” said Deputy Head of the Mogilev Regional Directorate of the Security Department, Police Major Alexander Vilenta .
So that the practical and theoretical classes do not get bored with the Dozorovites, the leadership of the regional administration tries to make their every day different from the previous one, and therefore the children's schedule includes excursions, sports days, games at Zarnitsa, and interesting meetings.
Schoolchildren have already managed to visit the Oktyabrsky security department of Mogilev, in the village of Gai, where a reconstructed memorial complex dedicated to the soldiers of the militia detachment of Captain Vladimirov was recently opened, in the historical and demonstration hall of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, Borisov and at the Brilevskoye Pole historical complex.
As the Dozorovites said, they like this summer much more than just sitting at home or walking with friends.
“The camp brought a lot of emotions and impressions. All the moments lived in this place, I will remember for a very long time. After all, summer is cool, and even more so if we spend this time with the guys from the Watch. Here are my friends, with whom we became family people, - said fifteen-year-old Valeria Bogatko from the agro-town of Teterino. “During these days we went on excursions and spent every day with benefit.”
The girl shared that thanks to the military-patriotic club, and then the summer camp, she was able to find new friends. “Thanks to the Watch, I met my friends. Otherwise, they would never have known each other, ”said Valeria Bogatko .
But the sixteen-year-old Artem Tselovalnik from Krugly liked the diversity most of all in the camp. “I liked the employment in the camp most of all. Every day something new and interesting happens. And every time I experience different emotions,” he said. - The guys here are very kind and friendly. And after the end of our shift, we will communicate! I am very grateful to our leaders who provided the opportunity to get here.”
Sofya Akhankova from Kruglye is 14 years old. The girl shared why she decided to become a member of the club and join such an active holiday in the summer. “I wanted to learn more about military affairs, somehow unusually spend the holidays. And our "Dozor" gave me such an opportunity, - said the schoolgirl. - We have a very cheerful and active camp, no one ever sits on the sidelines. Everyone is very friendly. A very rich program was thought out for us. We learned a lot, saw new places, got to know each other better.”
The Mogilev Regional Directorate of the Department of Security is sure that the guys will definitely remember such holidays. After all, here they receive not only knowledge that will be useful to many in the future, but also a lot of impressions and emotions, and also communication with friends.
“Some of the guys from our club are already applicants. And today in the camp there are those teenagers who have become candidates for joining the ranks of the patrolmen. During the camp, they were able to feel the atmosphere of the club, learn a lot, and most importantly - make friends with each other. Ahead is the end of the shift, but they are already a little sad. They say they don't want to part with the camp and the guys, - Alexander Vilenta shared. - Our camp performs many important tasks. Of course, in the first place here is military-patriotic education, the study of the history of one's country, and the support of physical fitness. We help children learn responsibility and endurance, instill in them patriotism and a sense of duty, teach them to be strong and purposeful. But at the same time, we get a lot from the guys in return.”
According to the deputy chief, many of those teenagers who spend their summers today in the camp of the military-patriotic club have already decided what they want to become in the future. The guys want to connect their fate with service in the internal affairs bodies.
July 14 - closing shift. On the final day, the Dozorovites will be waiting for active games in the fresh air, a lot of communication and positive emotions. But all the guys are sure of one thing - there will be an opportunity to get into such a camp again, they will definitely use it.
“In our country, special attention is paid to youth and its development. In Belarus, all conditions have been created for every child to be able to reveal his potential, to find a business that he would like to do throughout his life. A linguist, a humanist, a military man, a mathematician or an IT specialist - Belarus gives everyone equal conditions for realization, - said Alexander Vilenta. “Our camp is one of the steps that helps the guys to spend the summer with benefit and make sure that they have chosen the right path for the future.”
