The international festival of children's creativity "Golden bee" will bring together more than 900 participants. The creative event will be held from June 1 to June 4 in Klimovichi, the Mogilev Regional Methodological Center for Folk Art and Cultural and Educational Work said.
The participants of the 21st festival will be creative teams and performers from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. They will compete in three age categories: junior (9-12 years old), middle (13-15 years old) and senior (16-18 years old). Children will present their creativity in three genres - vocal, choreographic and visual arts. Each direction is divided into separate nominations.
The Golden Bee Festival kicks off on June 1, International Children's Day, with the Let There Always Be Sunshine event, which will take place in the Klimovich city park. The program includes the contest "Miss Golden Bee", an exhibition of fine and decorative arts "We draw happiness", a drawing contest on asphalt "Let there always be peace", a sporting event "Merry Starts! Sports starts!”, as well as a youth thematic area. The first day will end with the holiday “Childhood is us!” with disco.
June 2 will be the day of children's creativity. At 10.00, competitive auditions in vocal and choreographic art will begin. At 11.00 open-air "How beautiful this world" of participants in the genre of fine arts will open. During the day, the city park will host thematic venues, including the play area "In the Land of Cartoons and Fairy Tales", a concert of the brass band of the Mogilev Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will take place. At 20.30, the participants and guests of the Golden Bee will gather for the festive opening of the festival.
The third day of the festival has been declared the Day of Creative Achievements. On June 3, there will be a ceremony of presenting diplomas to the participants of the festival with the title of diplomat. A number of sites will continue to operate in the city park, which will be joined by the site "Creativity of the young - the future of the country" of institutions of secondary specialized education in the region. There will also be organized round tables of participants, jury and organizers of the festival, a concert program of creative teams of the Klimovichi region. At 13.00, the final gala concert "Star Start" and the awards ceremony will take place.
Youth Day will be the fourth and final day of the event. During June 4, creative and interactive platforms for collectives, play and acting groups of the Klimovichi district will work. The sports and entertainment program "Territory of Youth" and the marathon "We are the future of the country" will be presented to the attention of local residents and guests of the city.
As noted in the Klimovichi regional executive committee, the international festival of children's creativity "Golden Bee" has long become a brand. The event reflects the main direction of the state policy of the country - support for talented and gifted youth. Today the task is not only to identify such guys, but also to help them find themselves in creativity and open up, give them the opportunity to develop and move forward. This is best facilitated by the holding of such festivals.
The festival "Golden bee" was born on Klimovichi land in 1996 at the initiative of the district executive committee and got its name thanks to the symbol of the city of Klimovichi - the coat of arms depicting a bee. For more than 25 years, the status of the event has grown to international. Thus, the festival has gained great popularity in the countries of near and far abroad. Over the years of its existence, performers and creative teams from 26 countries have taken part in it. For many, the creative event has become a real springboard to the creative future.
