Kruglyanshchina celebrates the 79th anniversary of the liberation of the region from the Nazi invaders. This day began with the laying of flowers at the monuments and obelisks, memorial plaques, with minutes of silence.
At 8:30 a.m., the laying ceremony took place at the mass grave of the soldiers-liberators. The leadership and members of the district executive committee, the district Council of Deputies, the Council of Veterans, representatives of labor collectives, departments and services came here to bow to the memory of heroes on the Day of Liberation of the District.
By nine in the morning, a general gathering was announced at the monument to the 222nd Infantry Division, at the obzor obelisk, at the grave of the Rakushevs and in other memorable places.
Flowers of grateful memory were laid to the busts of heroes on the Walk of Fame in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure, and to memorial plaques installed on administrative buildings.
