Representatives of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam came to Belarus. The Vietnamese delegation is led by Nguyen Van Long, representatives of the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry told BelTA.
Belarusian First Deputy Internal Affairs Minister, Chief of the Public Security Police Yuri Nazarenko welcomed the foreign colleagues. He remarked that cooperation between the two ministries develops dynamically. “We have positive experience of training Vietnamese specialists in such areas as fight against drug crimes, human trafficking, organization of solving of high-tech crimes, and service dog training. We are ready to continue this work,” the officer assured.
The sides discussed prospects of cooperation in maintaining public security, material and technical support for various units, and fight against terrorism. The guests from Vietnam spoke highly of the work of branches of the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry. The colleagues confirmed the intention to continue building up partnership relations, including in the fight against transnational crime organizations.
