The military-patriotic club "Ratavalnik" was opened on March 1 in Mogilev. The solemn ceremony took place in the fire emergency station No. 4.
The club was created jointly with the multidisciplinary center for work with children and youth "Yunost" of the city of Mogilev and will work on the basis of the fire rescue team of the Mogilev regional emergency department.
The first to join the club were 25 city schoolchildren - boys and girls. Today, in a solemn atmosphere, the guys uttered the words of their first oath, and after that they were presented with certificates of club members.
Head of the Mogilev Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Sergei Demidov addressed the children with parting words . “You became the first members of the Ratavalnik military-patriotic club. By joining this association, you not only promote the culture of life safety, but also are true patriots of our country, our Motherland. I would like to wish you new achievements, significant victories and, of course, to bring a culture of safety to people, to those around you, to families, to your schools,” he said.
According to Sergei Demidov, the first step in the development of the military-patriotic club was taken today. “This is an important and significant event not only for the members of the club, but also for employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. After all, this is an element of professional orientation and patriotic education. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are real patriots of their country. And it is important for us that in the future those people who come to serve us are also like that,” he noted. - We plan to develop our club, because life does not stand still. Now we are starting the work of the club in Mogilev, and at the next stage we will consider the emergence of such clubs in the regions. Probably, first in large cities, then in small ones. We will improve the educational program for children with a focus on the available opportunities, using the technology, equipment, material and technical base that we have.”
Andrey Zablotsky, head of the main education department of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, wished the children to always be an example for others, to wear uniforms with honor and dignity. “The most important thing is that the words of the oath should not remain just promises, but be supported by concrete deeds, actions in the field of life safety, propaganda of this direction among the masses. I have no doubt that in your schools, and in your parents and friends, you will always show safe behavior in a variety of situations by personal example. And if it so happens that trouble has come, then you will always come to the aid of those who need it,” he said.
Among those who were the first to receive certificates of club members is eighth-grader Ekaterina Petrova . The girl studies at secondary school No. 39 and has been involved in fire and rescue sports for a year and a half. “I have already decided on my future profession - I want to connect my life with the Ministry of Emergency Situations. I have been dreaming about this since I was 6 years old and I try to confidently go towards my goal. I am sure that the knowledge and skills gained in this club will be useful to me, ”the schoolgirl says.
Together with her, a student of grade 11 from secondary school No. 37 Vladislav Petrusenko joined the ranks of the club . “At the beginning of the year, we became members of the military-patriotic club “Defender”, then they offered to join the club from the Ministry of Emergencies. I like what they teach us, so I decided to go here. I try to keep fit, I work out with friends on the horizontal bars, ”he said. - I want to become a soldier of internal troops. What they teach here, they will show, will come in handy later. You have to know a little about everything. I will continue the good tradition of our family - my dad is a reserve major, he worked in the committee of investigative examinations. Mom is a little worried about my choice of the future path. But I'm sure everything will be fine."
The solemn event ended with a creative performance.
