The fourth national mini-football tournament among minors, for whom individual preventive work is being carried out, was completed at the Republican Olympic Training Center "Staiki", the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Following the results of the competition, the team from the Mogilev region rose to the top step of the podium. Minsk residents are in second place, and representatives of the Vitebsk region are in third place. The winners and runners-up were awarded cups, medals and certificates. All tournament participants received gifts and souvenirs from the Presidential Sports Club, the police department, and charitable organizations.
“The motto of the tournament “Together to Victory” fully corresponded to the spirit of the football battles that took place. In a stubborn struggle, the guys showed excellent qualities of future defenders of the Motherland - the desire for results, endurance, cohesion. For us as organizers, the outcome of the competition is important. They gave teenagers from different regions the opportunity to meet, communicate, and make new friends. I am sure that everything will work out well for everyone and they will be law-abiding citizens,” noted First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Chief of Public Security Police Yuri Nazarenko at the award ceremony .
At the end, the children were treated to demonstration performances by cadets of the Faculty of Internal Troops of the Military Academy, and a small concert from departmental musicians. Football freestylers demonstrated their skills in handling a leather ball.
