The social project "Sport for All" presented the residents of Kostyukovichi with a multifunctional power platform

In Kostyukovichi, a modern multifunctional power platform was solemnly opened. A new sports facility appeared in the city thanks to the republican social project of the Presidential Sports Club "Sport for All" with the participation of the Kostyukovichi District Executive Committee.
“All residents of Kostyukovichi are very happy with such a gift, - stressed the chairman of the Kostyukovichi district executive committee Alexandra Mikheenko. - Moreover, each of them invested his share in the appearance of this site, because the funds earned from the district subbotnik were directed to its arrangement. Even before the official opening, the facility became a place of attraction for citizens: since the installation of the simulators, a lot of children and adults have been gathering here. An unconditional plus is the accessibility of the site even for people with disabilities. Our city needed such an initiative, because there is never too much good.”
The new facility was located in the Molodyozhny microdistrict just a few days ago, but its advantages have already been appreciated by local residents. The transformer site will be available to a wide range of citizens and will be of interest to children and adults, professional athletes and amateurs, as well as people with disabilities. It is designed for completely different ages and levels of physical fitness. Here you can do several dozen types of strength exercises, as well as play basketball. However, the most important thing is that this open-air gym will promote a healthy lifestyle among young people.
According to Alexandra Mikheenko, work on the development of sports and physical culture among the residents of Kostyukovichi continues constantly, and in many respects this is facilitated by the strengthening of the material base. There are 7 workout grounds in the district, two children's sports grounds will appear in the city by this Independence Day, and by the Liberation Day of the Kostyukovichi district, which will be held at the end of September, the first open basketball ground in the regional center will be opened. Next year, in the new microdistrict on Komsomolskaya St., they plan to open another multifunctional power platform. “On August 18-19, we will host the Vytoki festival. Many participants and guests will come to this sports festival, so the new site will perfectly fit into the theme of this event and, of course, will become an ornament of our city,” the head of the district emphasized.
Igor Novik, a resident of Kostyukovichi and father of three sons, is sure that such a sports ground is very necessary and relevant. “It is wonderful that such an object has appeared in the city for the development and popularization of various sports. Here you can do exercises of varying degrees of difficulty and for various muscle groups. Children and adults, small and large all love it very much. As a parent, I want to say that this is especially good for children, because you can work out with the whole family. My sons are fond of judo, tourism and outdoor activities are welcome in the family. Now we will spend time on this site. We are very glad that we, the residents of Kostyukovichi, are given such attention,” he said.
Vadim Mitko, a resident of Stolin, also took part in the grand opening of the sports facility today. “I came to visit your regional center,” he shared. - I think that such playgrounds are very important for children and adults to have the opportunity to keep fit. The more such public facilities in the city, the more useful it is for people: when the simulators are in plain sight, even passing by, you will definitely want to work out - do push-ups, pull yourself up. Well, if this trend will spread everywhere. I was surprised that Kostyukovichi is quite a sports city, there are many specialized facilities. Not in all regional centers you will find such an attentive attitude to sports, as in this small town.”
Over the two years of the implementation of the large-scale project "Sport for All", 33 similar objects have already appeared in various regions of the country. This year alone, 28 sites will be opened, including 5 in the Mogilev region. New multifunctional complexes have already been opened in the region in Belynichi and Kostyukovichi, and before July 3, such facilities will appear in Khotimsky, Kirovsky and Mstislavsky districts. The goal and main idea of the project is a sport accessible to everyone, regardless of social status and financial capabilities.
