As part of the Week of the Mogilev Region in the city of Tianjin (PRC), on May 18, a Belarusian delegation led by the chairman of the regional executive committee Anatoly Isachenko visited the Binhai New District "Beautiful Living Room Bincheng" and the port of Tianjin, which in 2022 ranked eighth in terms of cargo turnover in the world.
The international seaport includes a free trade zone and is one of the busiest ports in the world. Its work is based on green energy, thanks to which it feeds on wind and solar energy, which it produces itself. A high level of automation is also organized - all unloading cranes and container ships are controlled from a single control center (5g).
As noted during a visit to Mogilev in November 2022, Luan Jianzhang , director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Tianjin, Luan Jianzhang , in this direction, the regions of Belarus and China can get a very good tandem: “Mogilev region represents industrial, scientific, technical, agricultural potential, and Tianjin is a port city with a developed logistics structure. If all this is combined, great results can be achieved. Of course, under the strict guidance of the heads of state, who attach special importance to relations between our countries,” he stressed.
