The first regional forum “Local self-government in the Mogilev region” continues, the motto of which is “Initiative. Unity. Action. Result". It brought together deputies of all levels, executive authorities, local self-government, the Youth Parliament, pupils and students. The second day of the forum is devoted to the topic of a single day of self-government.
Representatives of the Youth Parliament at the city and district Councils of Deputies were able to try on the role of experienced colleagues. During the “Deputy Portfolio” project, the youth spent a working day with the chairmen of the city and district Councils of Deputies. In the Kruglyansky district, the head of the youth parliament, Yevgenia Martynova, studied the specifics of the work of the chairman of the district council of deputies, Sergei Khramtsov . The working day started at 8:30 am. On the agenda was the issue of preparation for the upcoming subbotnik. We discussed organizational issues with the chairmen of the village councils, checked the points where the landscaping will take place. Then I managed to participate in the session of the district executive committee, one of the topics of which concerned the personnel issue. It was interesting to learn the state of affairs in this direction, to hear ways to solve problematic issues. For example, it was discussed how to secure young specialists in the countryside. It is clear that young cadres need housing, as well as the help of older colleagues. One of the factors is involvement in public life. So the young specialist feels that he is useful, his initiatives are heard. The experience from the “Deputy Portfolio” project is very interesting. I saw from the inside how the deputies work, heard in more detail what problematic moments there are in the district.
In the Krasnopolsky district, members of the youth parliament spent a day with the chairman of the district Council of Deputies, Anzhelika Goman , and worked in the Gorsky and Yanovsky village councils of deputies. In the Mountains, the children got acquainted with the work of the Center for Marketing and Cheese Making "Malochny Kuferak", FAP. At the second point, they participated in the reception of citizens.
Tomorrow is the final day of the regional forum: a plenary session will be held during which the winners of the competition among local governments of the Mogilev region for 2022, as well as the winners of the online quiz on local government, will be awarded.
