1,800 apartments built in Belarus in January 2024

 Almost 198,500 square meters of housing were commissioned in Belarus in January 2024; companies of all forms of ownership built 1,800 apartments, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus. 

Belarus commissioned some 60,700 square meters of housing for people registered as in need of better living conditions, which accounted for 30.6% of the total housing commissioned. 

Some 40,200 square meters of such housing were subsidized by the government. 

As to rural communities, 82,700 square meters of housing were delivered there, or 41.7% of homes commissioned in the country.
