MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Chinese political, trade and economic relations were discussed between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the People’s Republic of China Viktor Burya and Deputy Foreign Minister of China Cheng Guoping at the Foreign Ministry of China on 9 March, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian embassy in the People’s Republic of China. Viktor Burya noted that Belarus praises cooperation with China. The two countries have similar views on many issues of international agenda. The countries support each other in international organizations. The Chinese official, for his part, stressed that over the 20 years of diplomatic relations China and Belarus have made great headway in all-round cooperation. In his words, Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Hu Jintao attaches great significance to the cooperation with Belarus. Good relations between the two leaders promote bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
