Belarus to launch production of Hongqi cars

Belarus will launch production of passenger cars under the Hongqi brand, Belarusian First Deputy Industry Minister Aleksandr Ogorodnikov told BelTA.

“In the near future, the Unison enterprise together with Chinese partners will start production of passenger cars under the Hongqi brand. The first 36 car kits have already been delivered to the plant. The target task for this year is to approach 1,000 units within the remaining three months. The next year looks very promising,” Aleksandr Ogorodnikov said.

He also mentioned BKM Holding's project with Russia's Renera. “BKM Holding has been selected as a potential site to develop the charging theme,” the first deputy minister said.
