Young wrestlers of the Mogilev region made it to the finals of the “league of the brave!” for the second time!

The Mogilev region team became the first finalist of the second season of the wrestling “League of the Brave”.

In the starting semi-final, held in Krichev, the Mogilev team won in a stubborn confrontation against the Gomel region team with a score of 17:13. The opponent of the wrestlers of the Mogilev region in the final match of the second season of these competitions will be determined on December 16 after a meeting between the young wrestlers of the Minsk region and the Moscow team. If the guys from the Russian capital win, then the January final will be a repeat of the decisive match of the debut season of the “League of the Brave” - a year ago the Muscovites defeated the team from the Mogilev region with a score of 17:13.

The League of the Brave competitions combine three types of wrestling: freestyle, Greco-Roman and women's. Each team consists of ten athletes. The results of fights in three types are included in the overall standings. The tournament is organized using a direct elimination system. This season, the teams include boys and girls born in 2008-2009 who are engaged in wrestling on a regular basis.
