Renovated operative gynecology department opened in mogilev hospital

The Department of Operative Gynecology opened on March 7 after repairs and re-equipment at Mogilev Hospital No. 1, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.

Repair and purchase of medical equipment, showers, air conditioners, refrigerators and other equipment were carried out at the expense of non-budgetary funds of the healthcare institution and sponsorship.

About 320 surgeries are performed in the department every month. Here, high-tech operations are performed using an allograft for prolapse of the pelvic organs, the number of laparoscopic operations and operations using vaginal access increases annually, and minimally invasive endoscopic interventions are performed. Many operations are unique to the area.

And the comfortable conditions of the patients' stay in the department will help faster recovery after the operations, the Ministry of Health added.
