Storming of the castle, tactical buhurts and fire show: "Knight's fest" will be held in Mstislavl on august 5

In Mstislavl, on August 5, a festival of medieval culture "Knight's Fest" will be held. This was reported in the Mogilev regional methodological center of folk art and cultural and educational work.

On this day, almost the entire city will turn into festive streets filled with various locations and interactive activities. Medieval quests, treasure hunts, medieval attractions, photo zones, various thematic exhibitions and a batleyka are just a small part of what the organizers are preparing for the festival guests. In addition, there will be a medieval costume contest, in which everyone can take part. Applications are accepted until August 5, and on the day of the festival the results of the competition will be summed up.

By tradition, the main events of the holiday will unfold on the Castle Hill. At 11.30 a performance of the equestrian historical club "Golden Spur" from Minsk will take place. After that, buhurts and battles of foot knights start. At 14.00, the second block of events will open with a concert by the Khmelnoy Vir folk group and a master class in medieval dances. After that, the audience will be able to enjoy the fairy tale staged by the equestrian historical club.

The next block starts at 16.30. At this time, the tactical buhurts "Capture the banner" and "Protection of the king" will take place on the Castle Hill. Then mass battles and a tournament of archers will begin. The holiday will continue with demonstration performances and a stunt show from the Scottish Spur club from Molodechno.

At 19.00, knightly fun, the Odin's Circle tournament, a theatrical assault on the castle and various maneuvers will begin. After that, the winners of the tournaments will be awarded. The festival program will continue with concerts and fire shows.
